We are a newer group who has been meeting with our kids for playgroups, park play dates, picnics, trips to the zoo, Olbrich Gardens, The Children's Museum, Farmers Market etc.   There are typically a few options for meetups each week.  Most of the kids in this group are infants through age four (though older siblings are certainly welcome). I am starting this group in order to fulfill a need for single mom's in the area to to connect with other's with the same issues. I would like to nurture a safe, non-judgemental and welcoming environment, for women to talk and gain support in the community. We will start out, initially, with a support group/talk meetings, and once we establish a group, we can expand to play groups and other events, with and without the children.
