Hi!

I'm new, and I'm about to move to London temporarily from the US.

I think there are more than just me here?

Anyway, I thought it might be fun to "meet" here, and maybe in a park in a couple of weeks?

I get a LOT out of my meetups at home...

I'm here (in Wimbledon) from the US as well, temporarily. We're from MN, though my husband is from Chicago. I'm always up for meeting mums in the area, especially ones from the US! We should be able to make a meetup, name the time and place!

Fun! We'll be in "the city". Um?

Anyway, we'll probably be up for meeting people next week? I have no idea how naps or jetlag or whatever will be, but if anyone is up for grabbing some coffee and heading to a park mid week, I am SO YOUR GIRL.

How is London with kids anyway?

We just moved to London a few days ago from the San Francisco area. We are in Wandsworth and would love to get together soon. My son is 2. Wandsworth Common has a cafe and our little "high street" has a great kid-friendly organic cafe nearby too! My stroller doesn't arrive until friday, so I am only walking distance until next week!

Sure! I'm sure we'll have to travel, but I don't know how far away that is. I'm at Mansion House stop? Does that make sense?

Hurray, new friends!

? Huh. I dunno.

I'll be near St. Paul's? I'll write more when I get in. I'm sure it'll be easy to meet up!

We could definitely make a meetup in Wandsworth. You're right on the Northern Line from me.

So, Deborah, you want to pick the day and time and we'll all come your way?

P.S. Look at all these Chicagoans!

our furniture arrives tomorrow (friday) and we'll be a little crazy over here getting our house settled. Can we choose a day/time next week? How about next wednesday around 10:30 at the playground in Wandsworth Common. There is a ncie play structure near the pond with swans and a little cafe further into the park as well.

My new number is: 07548931979

Let me know if the day/time works for you. I can also do this on tues or thurs too.

I wouldn't be able to make it on a Wed. or Fri. (we have classes scheduled) but most other days work for me. But don't plan around me! I don't think Wandsworth is that far from me - or at least it would be easy enough to get to.
